Cross 19-2
Warfare x Mass Monkey x Tank
Due: 2-6-11 to Homemade 17-3
The 19 litter was one of our most anticipated litters this spring. Warfare popularity is at an all time high and here is an opportunity to buy a great pair of gilts. Their mother was our top pick of the bred gilts when we acquired the Frank Davis sows. She was a top pick because phenotypically she was incredible to look at and even more, she won nearly every time she was shown in Texas for the Elkin’s family. There is no doubt, this red belted gilt was THE most sought after gilt prospect in our entire spring crop. Few would argue that the boar she’s bred to, 17-3 was as impressive as any black boar at Hi Point this fall and was the logical choice for this gilt because of her color and likely stress status. This is a unique opportunity to raise a boar prospect that could have unlimited value and a chance to own a powerhouse sow. Serious inquiries only. |
Cross 19-4
Warfare x Mass Monkey x Tank
Due: 2-6-11 to Homeboy
The 19 litter was one of our most anticipated litters this spring. Warfare popularity is at an all time high and here is an opportunity to buy a great pair of gilts. Their mother was our top pick of the bred gilts when we acquired the Frank Davis sows. She was a top pick because phenotypically she was incredible to look at and even more, she won nearly every time she was shown in Texas for the Elkin’s family. This roan gilt is built similar to her sister and again, was bred to a Hampshire sire. We truly believe Homeboy will sire Hamps & Crosses that will compete and we think this mating could be special. |
Cross 20-6
My Monkey x Born Ready
Due: 2-7-11 to Cow Bell
The 20 litter was the deepest cross litter farrowed here in January and out of the best gilt we retained from the ’10 crop. There were only 2 males in this litter, one was 2nd to the eventual Reserve Overall FFA Barrow at Missouri and the other was the Champion Cross Boar at Missouri. Of the 4 gilts we retained from this litter, we can confidently say this one follows a close 2nd behind 20-8 who is in the keeper pen because she’s due earlier. Another tremendous sow prospect here carrying what could be a great litter of Cow Bell’s. |
